PK Books, Business & Tax Season Readiness Assessment
Or are you just hoping you are? Let's find out — before small problems turn into big, expensive ones later.
A real professional review of where your books, records and business actually stand — delivered as a written PK Readiness Report with recommended next steps.
People Knowledge Results
Sound familiar?
Most people don't avoid their books because they're careless. They avoid them because they're busy running the thing that makes the money.
No lecture. No side-eye.
And definitely no "you should've called me sooner." Just a clear, professional answer to one question: where do you actually stand?
60-second gut check
This is not the assessment — it's a quick, private gut check that runs in your browser. Nothing is sent anywhere, and there are no wrong answers.
Your assessment includes
More than a free consultation. Less than a cleanup engagement. This is a real professional assessment of where your business stands right now.
Are your books current, usable, and actually telling the truth about your business?
Where your accounts stand, and what hasn't been matched up yet.
How your business income and expenses are organized — and where things get lost.
Whether your records and documentation are organized enough for the season ahead.
How prepared your business information is for tax season — before it arrives.
What's missing, what matters most, and what deserves your attention first.
And you keep the paperwork:
What you receive
Three areas. Plain English. A clear status for each one, why it matters, and exactly what to do next.

Sample wording shown for illustration. Your report reflects your actual business — including the areas that are already in good shape.
Who this is for
“I have no idea what I'm doing with my books.”
Straight talk
An honest scope is part of the service. Here's the line, clearly drawn.
The assessment identifies where you currently stand. If work is needed, PK will tell you what it is — and you decide what happens next.
What happens next
This assessment is about figuring out what your business actually needs — not finding something else to sell you. Your Readiness Report may recommend work PK can handle, something you can take care of yourself, or help outside PK Business Services. And if you're already in good shape? We'll tell you that too.
You're good here. That's a real result, and you get it in writing.
The report explains what needs doing and the right next step, so you can take care of it yourself.
The report names the PK service that fits — and whether your $99 credit applies to it.
If what you need sits outside PK's scope, the report names the type of professional to look for, and why.
The $99 credit
Need PK to handle something we found? Your full $99 may be applied toward one qualifying PK service related to a need in your Readiness Report. Express interest within 14 calendar days of final report delivery to claim it. Once timely claimed and PK-approved, redeem it against a valid qualifying invoice within six months of final report delivery.
Depending on what your report actually finds, a qualifying service could be something like:
Not every report recommends PK work — and that's the point. The assessment is a complete service on its own, whether you ever buy anything else or not.
How it works
One $99 payment for the PK Books, Business & Tax Season Readiness Assessment.
A short, structured intake so PK knows your business, your income types and your setup.
You provide what PK asks for through the secure PK process — never through this page.
A real professional review of your books, records and tax-season readiness.
Your written PK Readiness Report with findings, priorities and recommended next steps.
You will never be asked for sensitive taxpayer information on this page. No Social Security numbers, no ITINs, no bank logins, no tax returns or tax forms. Anything sensitive is handled through PK's secure process — not a web form.
The $99 fee becomes non-refundable once you submit your completed Assessment for PK review. Disagreement with or dissatisfaction with the report, findings, results, or recommendations does not qualify for a refund. Verified factual errors may be reviewed and corrected. PK retains administrative discretion for legitimate pre-submission payment errors, duplicate purchases, or inability to provide the service.
One-time $99 assessment fee. Not a subscription. Claim within 14 calendar days of final report delivery; after PK approval, redeem against one qualifying invoice within six months of final report delivery.
Questions, answered
No. This is a readiness assessment. It reviews where your books, records and business information stand going into tax season. It is not tax-return preparation or filing.
No. The assessment identifies where you currently stand. It does not include bookkeeping cleanup, correcting transactions, or completing reconciliations. If that work is needed, PK will tell you — clearly — and you choose what happens next.
Your report explains what's needed and why. If the recommended work is a service PK Business Services offers, you may claim the full $99 credit by expressing interest within 14 calendar days of final report delivery. After PK approval, redeem it against one qualifying invoice within six months of final report delivery. If it's something you can handle yourself, the report tells you how to approach it. And if the right help sits outside PK, your report names the type of professional to look for. Either way, the decision is yours.
Then you'll have that in writing — which is worth knowing. "No action needed" is a legitimate result, and you still receive your written report and recommended next steps. PK will not invent work to sell you.
After purchase you'll complete an intake, then provide the business information PK requests through the secure PK process. You will never be asked to send Social Security numbers, ITINs, bank logins, tax returns or other sensitive taxpayer documents through this page.
A bookkeeping readiness review, reconciliation/status review, business income and expense organization review, recordkeeping/document readiness review, tax-season readiness review, missing-information and priority-item identification, your written PK Readiness Report, and recommended next steps.
Yes — toward one qualifying service that your own Readiness Report recommends, when you express interest within 14 calendar days of final report delivery and PK approves the claim. The approved credit must be redeemed against a valid qualifying invoice within six months of final report delivery. It cannot be divided or exceed the invoice amount. It isn't a universal credit: it can't be applied to an unrelated PK service, it isn't cash, it isn't separately refundable or transferable, and it can't be used with an outside provider.
Then that's what it will say. If something falls outside what PK Business Services does, your report identifies the type of professional or service to consider and explains why — so you know what kind of help to look for. The $99 credit only applies to PK services, so it wouldn't carry over to an outside provider, but the recommendation is yours to keep and act on.
You complete your assessment intake, provide the requested information through the secure PK process, PK performs the assessment, and you receive your written PK Readiness Report with recommended next steps. Turnaround times are not published on this page — your report is delivered once PK completes the review of the information you provide.
No. PK is explicitly nonjudgmental. Disorganized books are one of the most normal things in small business, and "I don't know what I'm doing" is a completely acceptable starting point. The purpose of this assessment is clarity, not shame.
Last thing
$99. One assessment. A written report that tells you the truth about your books, your records and your tax season — plus the next steps to fix what needs fixing.
